At MaryJoe Foundation, we believe every girl deserves to know her worth, use her voice, and believe in the possibilities of her future.
On September 26, 2026, MaryJoe Foundation proudly hosted our Girls Empowerment & Dignity Initiative in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Despite the rain throughout the day, our girls, families, volunteers, and community supporters showed up with enthusiasm and determination. The weather did not stop us from creating a meaningful day of learning, encouragement, connection, and empowerment.
The program focused on important topics including self-confidence, self-worth, personal hygiene, menstrual health, education, leadership, healthy choices, and the importance of believing in yourself.
Our girls were encouraged to understand that their voices matter, their dreams are important, and their circumstances do not have to determine their future.
Throughout the program, one powerful message remained at the center of everything we did:
I am beautiful. I am valued. I am powerful.
In addition to the empowerment and educational sessions, participants received practical resources including feminine hygiene products, personal-care items, backpacks, school supplies, and other essentials to support their health, dignity, and education.
This initiative was made possible because of people and organizations who believe in investing in our girls.
