On August 29, 2026, MaryJoe Foundation proudly hosted its Bucks County Girls Empowerment & Dignity Initiative, bringing girls, families, volunteers, community partners, and supporters together for a meaningful day centered on health, education, dignity, and empowerment.

Under the theme “Empowered Girls Today, Leaders Tomorrow,” the program was created to remind every girl that she is valuable, capable, and deserving of opportunities to grow and succeed.
Building Confidence and Recognizing Self-Worth
A major focus of the program was helping girls develop confidence and understand their worth. Through empowering conversations and educational activities, participants were encouraged to believe in themselves, use their voices, establish healthy boundaries, make positive choices, and pursue their educational and personal goals.
Throughout the event, one message captured the spirit of the day:
“I am beautiful. I am valued. I am powerful.”
These words represent what MaryJoe Foundation wants every young girl to carry with her—not only during an empowerment program, but throughout her life.
Promoting Health, Dignity, and Education
The event also addressed girls’ health, personal hygiene, menstrual health, and the importance of approaching normal body changes with confidence rather than embarrassment.

Participants received feminine hygiene kits and essential personal-care items, helping ensure that practical support accompanied the day’s educational messages.
As part of MaryJoe Foundation’s commitment to education, backpacks and school supplies were also distributed to help students begin the school year prepared and encouraged.
Community Coming Together
The success of the initiative was made possible through the generosity and commitment of volunteers, donors, sponsors, community partners, and families who believe in investing in the next generation.

MaryJoe Foundation extends special appreciation to Foundations Community Partnership (FCP) for supporting the initiative and helping make this opportunity possible for girls in the Bucks County community.
The Foundation also sincerely thanks everyone who volunteered, donated resources, shared their expertise, helped prepare the venue, welcomed families, and worked behind the scenes to make the program successful.
More Than One Day
The Girls Empowerment & Dignity Initiative reflects MaryJoe Foundation’s broader commitment to serving children, women, and families.
Our work extends beyond empowerment programs and includes food and essential-item donations, educational support, community outreach, back-to-school assistance, and educational experiences such as our youth trip to Washington, D.C.
Each initiative has the same goal: to provide practical support while creating opportunities for people to learn, grow, and recognize their potential.
For MaryJoe Foundation, empowerment is not simply about what we give. It is about helping people discover what already exists within them—their strength, dignity, voice, and ability to create a brighter future.
Together, We Empower. Together, We Rise.
